“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes”
I see psychotherapy as a journey that often derives from pain and absence, but enfolds in it hope and a wish for change. As every journey, the way varies in length and pace according to the person walking the path. During the course of life we experience the challenges and burdens that prevent us from reaching our goals. Walking the path of psychotherapy enables one to reflect, observe and find one's own internal resilience and independence. I strongly believe in a human relationship as a therapeutic means that enables approaching those discomforting and distressing aspects of life, and at the same time discovering and unveiling our hidden merits.
During the years working with a variety of patients I witnessed how through hard work, honesty and consistency, people made transforming changes in their lives. Improving ones relationship with his or her surrounding, finding better ways to deal with anxiety and depressive states, as well as finding one's own identity and sense of belonging, are just few of the them.
